Overall it was an exciting card with some very exciting knockouts. Dos Santos displayed excellent speed and power to cement himself as a top contender for the Heavyweight Championship. Expect Dos Santos's next opponent to be Cain Velasquez, setting up the next contender behind the winner of Mir and Carwin. Jon "Bones" Jones also improved his contender status, displaying excellent take downs and vicious elbows in his win over Vera. I would expect to see Jones next in the ring against another top contender and I would love for that person to be Thiago Silva. Jones vs. Silva would be a great match-up of two very powerful strikers.Went a decent 8-3 in the predictions for this card and hopefully will improve on those numbers for UFC 111 this Saturday.
